RECENT PROJECTS
Transforming the 2008 Harley FatBoy
-
The original bike was in pretty good shape compared to the typical iXecute Performance project. Nonetheless, the paint was tired with some pretty obvious blemishes and while acceptable for some, didn't quite capture the spirit of this iconic machine. The decision was made to give it a fresh look with a striking red paint job, setting it apart from the crowd and giving it an identity that screamed power and style.
-
The transformation began with meticulous prep work. The original paint was stripped away, revealing the bike's true canvas. Every inch was scrutinized. Metal surfaces were worked to remove every manner of imperfection, after which the motorcycle was sanded, and primed to perfection, ensuring that the new coats of two-tone red would adhere flawlessly. It was a labor-intensive process, but one that would make all the difference in the end.
While the paint job was the centerpiece of the project, no detail was overlooked. The bike received a full-service treatment, ensuring that it would not only look fantastic but also perform flawlessly on the road. Every nut and bolt was inspected and tightened, and any worn-out parts were replaced. Finally, every piece of chrome detail was polished to perfection in order to highlight the new paint.
-
The once-green Harley FatBoy had been reborn as a stunning red beauty. It was a transformation that breathed new life into this classic boulevard cruiser. It now stood as a testament to the passion and dedication of its restorers, a motorcycle that demanded attention wherever it roared.
In the end, it wasn't just about a restoration; it was about realizing a vision and creating something exceptional. The 2008 Harley FatBoy had gone from green to red, but more importantly, it had gone from ordinary to extraordinary, ready to hit the open road in style and turn heads wherever it went.
Reviving the 2012 Ultra Screaming Eagle
-
Every motorcycle has a story, and the 2012 Ultra Screaming Eagle was no exception. Purchased at auction with 75,000 hard-earned miles on its odometer, it may have seemed like a risky endeavor, but for iXecute Performance, it represented the quintessential Harley touring bike with near flawless original paint and chrome and a color scheme that definitely stood out from the crowd on bike night.
-
The first order of business was a full check-out. Every inch of the motorcycle was meticulously examined, and its condition was assessed. As the examination progressed, it became evident that the engine and mileage were going to be a weakness in finding its next owner. Facing the reality of potential buyers’ concern over the engine, a bold decision was made – to go all in. It was time for a complete top-end and bottom-end rebuild.
-
After weeks of hard work and dedication, the 2012 Ultra Screaming Eagle was now reborn into a rejuvenated masterpiece that would also provide mechanical peace of mind to its new owner. This bike was now more than ready to hit the road once again, embodying the true Harley spirit.
